CAPAPA membership from coast to coast to coast represents more than 4 Million personnel at more than 140 private sector organizations and government agencies, boards and commissions across Canada.
 

 
 
 

As Canada's voice of access and privacy, CAPAPA's public advocacy serves Canada's information access and privacy professionals from all sectors including industry, government, law enforcement, education and academia.

CAPAPA provides relevant and timely information, and promotes discussion and action on privacy and access issues across Canada.

As the voice of privacy and access in Canada, CAPAPA plays a pivotal role in ensuring the independent autonomy of Canada’s access and privacy professionals to administer Canadian privacy legislation, while directly and independently addressing the needs of industry, the public and private sectors.

 

CAPAPA serves Canada's information privacy and access professionals from all sectors including industry, government, law enforcement, education and academia.

CAPAPA plays a cornerstone role in Canada’s important privacy and access landscape.

CAPAPA provides the only meaningful standard of Professional Certification for Access and Privacy Professionals in Canada.

Founded in 2002, with members from coast to coast in the private, public, and government sectors, CAPAPA is run by a volunteer Board of directors.

As CAPAPA continues to grow in numbers, as well as in prominence and visibility among access and privacy professionals in Canada and abroad, we will continue to be a keystone resource for those interested in and affected by emerging issues in access and privacy legislation.
